Phildar
The French yarn manufacturer Phildar was founded over a hundred years ago, and from the beginning they have had their eyes firmly fixed on the future with their modern and innovative look at the role of yarn in everyday life.
In 1903, the two entrepreneurs Janssens and Mulliez opened, in the northern French town of Roubaix, the woolen mill which was to become Phildar. Since then, the company has been at the forefront and launched products with the zeitgeist in mind within the yarn and textile industry, such as knitting machines, while at the same time sticking to the core production of yarn. The essence of the brand Phildar today is the extensive experience in yarn production, as well as the contact with everyday yarn enthusiasts and their wishes and needs. In line with this, Phildar's stated mission is "to spread joy and serenity throughout the world through the art of yarn with respect for man and the planet."
Try Phil Passion, which combines six different materials in one unique yarn quality, Phil Caresse with its fantastically soft blend of polyamide and acrylic microfibers, or Phil Mikado with the unique color changes and softness that comes from the brushed wool in the yarn.
