Katia

The yarn and textile manufacturer Katia was founded in Barcelona in 1951 and has since been dedicated to creating yarns and knitting patterns for knitting enthusiasts throughout a lifetime.

Originally established as a subsidiary of the parent company Hilaturas Génesis, Katia has grown into a large, internationally recognized company with many loyal customers and extensive experience within the DIY textile industry. The Katia Group includes not only the Katia brand, but also the three brands Katia, Concept by Katia, and Lanas STOP.
