Start: 12 ch, v

Row 1
1 ch, 1 sc in each st, v

Repeat row 1 until piece measures 10 (17) 19 cm

Row 2
Now the work is measured from here.
1 ch, 1 sc in next 4 sts, v
Repeat row 2 until piece measures 5 (6) 7 cm

Cut the yarn and add it to the next st on the original piece.
Repeat row 2 until this piece is as far as the previous one. Cut off the yarn again and re-attach it to the next m on the original work.

Repeat row twice more, now you have 4 strips to braid.

Merge the four strips together as follows:
1. Cross the two middle strips.
2. The strip at the top is now crossed under the nearest outer strip
3. The strip at the bottom is crossed over the nearest outer strip
Continue until the braid is finished. Watch the video if it's difficult to follow the instructions - always remember to cross over and under!

Put the yarn in the outermost st on the braid and work 1 dc in each st until the end of this strip. Now dec in the first st on the next strip and crochet 1 sc in each of these sts. Do the same with the next two.

Row 3
1 ch, 1 sc in each st, v

Repeat row 3 until all work measures 25 (40) 50 cm

mounting
Fold the headband in the middle and crochet with sc.
