DROPS Nepal
DROPS Nepal is a thick and soft yarn made from 65% wool and 35% alpaca. The yarn combines the silky-soft surface of alpaca with the shape retention of wool and has a rustic texture with clearly defined stitches. It is spun from three strands and made from untreated fibers that have only been washed before dyeing. DROPS Nepal is produced in Peru using wool and alpaca from South America and belongs to yarn group C (aran/worsted, 10 ply).

DROPS Nepal is suitable for knitted sweaters, cardigans, vests, hats, scarves, and other warm garments. The yarn can also be used for felted projects, where the finished work develops an even and soft surface. Tips for use
Make a gauge swatch using the recommended 5.00 mm (US 8) needles to check the gauge of 17 stitches and 22 rows per 10 x 10 cm. Choose stockinette stitch, garter stitch, or textured stitch patterns if you want to highlight the yarn's clear stitch definition and rustic appearance. If you plan to felt your project, make a test swatch first, as the fabric will shrink during felting. Hand wash finished projects at a maximum of 30°C and leave them to dry flat.

Got this in walnut. First time using natural fibers. Love it, it is a bit itchy but using baby shampoo made it so much softer. The drape is beautiful and it’s soft enough for me to use tank tops/t shirts with the sweater I made from it.
